MOROPUS
HABITAT
Like many chalicotheres, Moropus preferred closed forest environments, using their long limbs and claws to forage.
DIET
Moropus may have been a "dirty browser":
supplementing deciduous flora with twigs and bark during drier periods.
BEHAVIOR
As one of the more common species at Agate, Moropus likely moved in herds, with stallions and mares living separately.
